Most management software takes one of two approaches: either it's a generic tool that tries to be everything to everyone, or it's so specialized that it only works for one narrow use case. We built Zeph to be neither.
The Problem with One-Size-Fits-All
Generic platforms give you a blank canvas and expect you to build everything yourself — custom fields, custom workflows, custom reports. That flexibility sounds great until you realize you're spending months configuring something that should work out of the box.
Specialized platforms solve the opposite problem — they work perfectly for one specific workflow but can't adapt when your needs change. Need to add a public portal? A CRM? Document archiving? Sorry, that's a different product from a different vendor.
How Zeph Is Different
Zeph is built around a modular architecture where every capability is a self-contained module that can be enabled, disabled, or configured independently:
- Case Management — Intake, assignments, workflows, tasks, and lifecycle tracking
- CRM — Contacts, communications, follow-ups, and relationship history
- Document Archive — Secure document storage with versioning, tagging, and retention policies
- Public Portal — Configurable public-facing search and document access
- FOIA Portal — Public records request submission with statutory countdown tracking
- Reports & Analytics — Standard reports, ad-hoc builder, scheduled delivery, and analytics dashboards
- CME Modules — Forensic imaging (PACS), toxicology, histology, evidence, death certification, and EDRS
You pick the modules you need. You pay for the tier that includes them. And when your needs grow, you upgrade your tier — your data, your configuration, and your workflows all stay intact.
Configured, Not Customized
Every module in Zeph is configurable through the admin panel — no code changes required. Terminology, field labels, case types, workflows, portal branding, retention policies, security groups, and more can all be adjusted to match how your organization operates.
This means deployment is fast. A new organization can be up and running in days, not months. And every update we release applies cleanly because your customizations live in configuration, not in forked code.
We're Looking for Partners
If your organization is looking for a management platform that actually fits the way you work — not the other way around — we'd love to talk. We're currently seeking pilot partners with heavily discounted rates and long-term rate locks for organizations willing to work with us during initial deployment.
